Felicity's passion is teaching. With 34 years of experience, she is attentive to each students strengths and needs. Students are taught in a way that will create success and bring joy to making music. As they learn to read music and rhythms, they also learn the fret board, theory, chords and all musical terms.

Felicity teaches students from age 5 to 90. Lessons are taught at two locations - Spring Creek Music in Louisville, Colorado at 720 Front Street and her home in Lafayette, Colorado. When necessary, she is assisted in teaching by her cat, Banshee.

Research has shown that the benefits of music study at all ages has a strong influence on learning and development. Studies have shown that:

Biography
Felicity began playing the guitar at the age of seven. In 1980, she received her Bachelors Degree in Music Performance from the University of New Mexico and in 1982 received a Master of Arts in Music from California State University, Northridge. She has been selected to perform in master classes with world renowned guitarists Andres Segovia, Pepe Romero, John Duarte and Alice Artzt. She is currently the guitar professor at Colorado State University in Fort Collins and Colorado Christian University in Denver.

Felicity Muench is an active freelance guitarist performing throughout Colorado, USA. In addition to performing with the Silverwood flute & guitar duo, with the Columbine violin & guitar duo, and as a soloist, she is a specialist in wedding music planning and consulting. She has performed at hundreds of weddings and receptions.

Felicity provides music also for dinner parties, receptions, corporate events and other elegant settings requiring equally elegant music.
